Royal Blackheath Golf Club
Golf Etiquette

At the Royal Blackheath, a certain 'disciplined informality' reigns both on and off the course. It goes without saying that your cooperation with the usual requests for 'Play without delay', 'Rake bunkers after use, repair pitch marks and replace divots' is always appreciated.

We all play at different speeds around the course. Please be conscious of the players behind, so, if you enjoy taking your time, you should never feel any embarrassment in calling through the faster group behind
- that way we all make the most of our round and play the speed of game we prefer.

Always remember that mobile phones should always be kept on silent mode on the course and in the Clubhouse and calls should only be made within designated areas - the downstairs lobby in the Clubhouse and in the car park. Doctors and Police may carry a bleeper for emergency calls.
